While Bethany and I were enjoying epic sunsets in San Diego, the Quad Open B/C crew had some pretty epic sunsets of their own at Jordan during Round 9 of the Motokazie Supercross Championship series. With a side of mud! Rain pounded Jordan before the race, way more than the forecasted amounts, and pit road was a lake, and the track was not in the best condition for practice or heat races. However, it came together real nice for the main event. Ian Hastings got his second consecutive main event win, coming back from a 6th place finish in the heat. Christian Wimmer had a fantastic showing as well, getting 2nd in the heat and 3rd in the main event. Trenton Borning gets a mention here for finishing 3rd place in the heat race, his first top 3 race since joining the Quad Open B/C class!
